Lavender Mint Lemonade Makes about 1 pitcher
For the lavender syrup 1 cup water
1 cup sugar
2 tsp culinary dried lavender
1 handful fresh mint
Lemonade
2 1/2 cups fresh lemon juice
4 cups water
1 cup lavender syrup
Plenty of ice
Fresh mint and lemon slices (optional), for serving

For the lavender syrup, add water, sugar and dried lavender to a pot over low heat. Stir occasionally until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture gets to a gentle simmer. Remove from heat, add fresh mint, and allow the syrup to infuse until cooled. Once cooled, strain lavender and mint.
In a large pitcher filled with ice, combine fresh lemon juice, water and lavender syrup. Fill pitcher with fresh sprigs of mint and lemon slices for a beautiful display and enjoy on a warm afternoon.
